Testosterone – the “violent” hormone?
We all know that testosterone is one of the primary causes of violence in young men don’t we? We have all seen the TV stories, read it in newspapers and know; we just KNOW that testosterone is the cause of most youth violence in our cities and towns.
No question! Everyone agrees! Right?

A hormone that is critical to human health and well-being and is NOT the cause of the violence we so often see around us.
Well ‘Yes’ this is what we mostly believe the trouble is we are wrong and so are all the experts, doctors, newscasters and judges who blame testosterone. A hormone that is critical to human health and well-being and is NOT the cause of the violence we so often see around us.
So why I am making these statements so boldly and with such fervour? I guess there are 2 reasons:
1. New research has shown that the actual effect of having (as opposed to believing) testosterone in the blood stream is an increase in collaborative behaviour NOT violence or aggression and
2. I have a vested interest in the beneficial effects of testosterone supplementation and have always hated the ‘violence’ label.
So where’s the proof of the ‘facts’ that I have stated? Well they are in some recent research that has been undertaken and here are the results as stated in the research:

The really strange thing is that they were “more antisocial if they thought they had received testosterone” while those who were really give it acted “more fairly ……. than did those given a placebo.”
For those people who have a vested interest in the Testosterone = Violence equation this new research will be very unwelcome new but for many others it is a blessing.
Many millions of people take testosterone supplements for very legitimate reasons but others have, because of the ‘violence’ label, avoided testosterone therapy because of the fears of the consequences of using testosterone-based products because of their undeserved reputations.
Testosterone is a vital part of every human body and is vital to its ability to function well.
During early onset of menopause, as men advance in age and for a wide array of medical conditions, physical injuries, lifestyle problems and environmental assaults we may need various forms of supplementation to ensure our bodies and it’s failing ability to supply us with the testosterone is maintained.
We need to live a good and healthy life and that’s simply not possible if you cannot maintain correct hormone levels – for whatever reason.
Now we know that using testosterone to maintain our quality of life the same time also makes us better people rather than changing us into social monsters and that must come as a relief to some.
Now you can use the products you really do need to make your life better.
