Testosterone is Your Friend: A Book for Both Men and Women. A Review

This book I would hesitate to recommend to anyone!

The book starts well. He mentions testosterone as one on a number of important hormones that are necessary to maintain health. He goes on to say, quite correctly, that it is hormonal balance that’s the real issue for most of us.

He also states, again correctly, that exercise is important to hormonal production and health as is diet and lifestyle. But then he loses me…

He suggests we pray and meditate and he defines healthy diet as macrobiotics (read about it on Wikipedia here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macrobiotics). I do agree that there is some value in parts of having a macrobiotic diet but like anything it should be used in moderation and is not the whole answer to hormonal issues by any means.

In fact if you are looking for a detailed review you cannot do better than reading the review here: http://ezinearticles.com/?Testosterone-is-Your-Friend-by-Roger-Mason

My score: 2 out of 5.

Osteoporosis can be a silent and deadly disease, which often lies undiscovered for a long time. Not only is this in itself a dangerous condition, the fatality rate associated with osteoporosis-related fractures is shockingly high! Raloxifene can drastically reduce these risks by preventing and treating osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It helps preserve and increase bone mass and has been proven to significantly reduce the risk of fractures. And unlike hormone-based medication, Raloxifene is a lot less prone to negative side effects. You might be getting a little older, but your bones don’t have to.
